Introduction
Laura's life focus is to live a healthy, happy and well balanced life and she delights in helping her clients do the same. She does this through her energy medicine practice. From a young age, Laura experienced energy, meditation, yoga and spirit in ways that called her to her life's purpose: teaching, helping to heal others and introducing people to energy medicine.
As an adult, she was called to work with clients on a professional level. As a result, she went through an extensive certification and training period in the field of energy medicine and the psychic arts in early 2009. Laura received her psychic development training from Psychic Medium and Channel Gerri Shanti DeSimone. She completed her Reiki I, Reiki II, Advanced Reiki, Reiki with Crystals, and Reiki Master certification with Reiki Master Teacher Joan Ruggiero. She attained certification in the crystal energy and aura energy field from Tibetan Crystal Healing Arts Practitioner Dawn Silver. In 2010, Laura went on to attain her Master Teacher certification in Magnified Healing® with Joan Ruggiero. She is a member of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) and uses official ICRT course materials in her Reiki classes. Through the classes and client sessions she offers, Laura has educated and helped hundreds of people live a healthy energy life!
Little Laura
When Laura was a child, she could sense and feel spirits around her. Often, they would come to her at night as she tried to fall asleep. Sometimes she would see ancestral spirits that lived on the land out of the corners of her eyes.
Unfortunately, like many children, she was being raised in a western society that did not understand, and thus accept, intuition and subtle energy fields. As a result, she hid many of her experiences so she would not be labeled by society as "strange".
As she got older, Laura kept feeling like she needed to return to exploring the unknown side of life. She explored all kinds of metaphysical and esoteric topics including ghosts and haunted houses. She dabbled in party séances while secretly "knowing" there was more to what she was doing than just parlor tricks. She paid attention to her intuitive feelings and would ask questions about deceased people and the histories of old buildings. Often, her feelings would be right.
She read many esoteric books as a young adult and studied many world religions. The more she studied and reached out to find others like her the more she began to have the sense that she was on her true path.
After many years of questioning, studying, traveling and learning, she discovered that some of her family members had the same psychic and energetic abilities she was awakening to. This revelation put her at ease and helped her to continue her journey towards sharing her abilities with others.
Laura Today
Now as an adult, Laura has come full circle and is practicing the psychic and energetic arts that she studied and trained in as a young adult. She is claircognizant (psychic knowing), clairvoyant (psychic seeing), clairsentient (psychic feeling) and an active medium; helping to cross spirit into the light when they are stuck, clearing ghostly energy from dwellings and relaying messages from loved ones who are crossed over back to the living. Laura is an avatara; a female channel for angels, ascended masters, and Divine light beings. She actively channels such beings as The Virgin Mother Mary, Archangel Michael, Metatron, Malchizedek, Quan Yin, Mohammad and various Light Beings who call themselves The Council of Light. She practices Reiki and Magnified Healing® daily on herself, and family members, to help her stay connected with the healing energy forces she uses with her clients.
Laura is drawn to the East and Eastern health practices. She uses crystals, herbs and botanicals in her personal health practice, thus her certification and training with crystals and aura energy sprays. She is a long time student (over 10 years) of Hatha Yoga with yoga instructor of over 20 years, Katy Potts. Laura has also been on a life long spiritual path, holding a regular personal meditation practice and has studied many world religions including Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Native American traditions, and Unitarian Universalism to help her gain appreciation for all views in life, some of which she currently practices personally.
Laura has traveled extensively throughout the United States (coast to coast twice) as well as internationally and has visited many sacred and spiritual sites (Stonehenge- England, Arizona vortexes- USA, Holy Isle- Scotland, Glastonbury Tor- England, Chatres Cathedral- France, Zaragoza- Spain, Avebury- England, Inverness- Scotland, Emerald Lake- Yukon Canada, Bath- England, Loch Ness- Scotland, Castlerigg- England, and more...). In many of these places she has experienced ley lines which are energetic hot spots on the earth that transmit powerful currents of energy. She has been heavily influenced by, and been in the presence of, such people as His Holiness The 14th Dali Lama of Tibet, Mirabai Devi, Amma, and Psychic Medium Gavin Cromwell.
In other aspects of her life, she is a school teacher and feels called to the work of service, both for children and adults.
Using her psychic gifts, holistic energy medicine training, and higher energy sources Laura feels honored and charged with the mission to help people become aware of their own health, psychic abilities, inherent worth and divine beingness.
